Within Australia’s leading theatrical producers Adam Lowe has extensive arts background.
This includes commercial and musical theatre throughout Australia and Asia:
- Production Stage Manager on The Full Monty,
- Stage Manager of the Tony Award winning Mel Brooks Musical The Producers, and
- Company Administrator for The Production Company Season 2004.
Other Musicals include:
- Little Shop of Horror’s with James Reyne and Christine Anu.
- Chicago The Musical within Australia and Asia,
- Annie directed by Martin Charnin,
- Man of La Mancha starring Anthony Warlow, and
- Oscar Wilde’s An Ideal Husband starring Googie Withers, Stephanie Beacham and John McCallum,
- the award-winning Hot Shoe Shuffle for its 1995 Asia and Australian return seasons
Adam’s theatrical career began with Australia’s Company B, Belvoir, as Stage Manager of the Downstairs Theatre working on many productions. For Company B Adam also worked as a technician on Neil Armfield’s productions of Hamlet and Dead Heart by Nicholas Parsons.
He also spent time as Technical Manager of the Q Theatre in Penrith, New South Wales, on productions of King Lear, starring Helmut Bakaitis, Diving for Pearls, directed by Adam Cook and Nick Enright’s Quartet from Rigoletto.
